Development Information
Social Networking System
We were required to build a system that encouraged member interaction, so we designed a system where members can join networks and socialize with related members. This includes user image galleries, bulletin system, member profile creation and private message system between.
Administration System
The administration system forms the backbone of this website. It allows the management team to easily organize aspects of festivals, from public festival job applications, to finalizing and printing off the box office to be used on festival admission.
Sophisticated Workflow Application System
The workflow application system was a big project in itself. This system allows the management team to easily construct dynamic online applications for various roles in a festival that the public can apply for. Once registered, members can sign up to work at a festival and see in real-time the status of their application as well as what else might need to be completed for their application to progress.
Paypal API
We coded a secure paypal API that automates the whole payment process without any human intervention. This allows for quick, simple payment on festival fees.
